What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is based on the principle that “like cures like.” A substance that can cause an illness or a symptom can also treat the same illness when given in a minute amount in a homeopathically-prepared medicine. Homeopathic medicine requires a process of continuous dilutions and succussions (vigorous shaking) in order to be effective.

How does it differ from naturopathy,
acupuncture and herbal medicine?
While homeopathy and these healing arts are similar in that they do not employ drugs or other conventional medical procedures, each one is also quite distinctive. Naturopathy is a broad term encompassing a host of natural healing arts ranging from nutrition to water cures. Acupuncture is one branch of Oriental Medicine that stimulates and balances the body's energy. Herbal medicine, also known as "Botanical Medicine", uses material doses of plant substances for treatment. Homeopathy is generally considered a natural healing art. It does not originate in the Orient, nor does it use material doses of substances.

Is it safe are there any side effects?
Homeopathic medicine, when used as directed, is generally recognized as safe for babies, children, pregnant women, and adults. However, if you are pregnant or nursing, we do recommend that you consult a licensed practitioner before using any medicine, including homeopathy.

How do I take homeopathy medicine?
A dose is considered as the number of times a remedy is taken, not the number of pellets ingested. Avoid placing the pellets in your hands. Allow the pellets to dissolve in your mouth.
How the medicine is taken is totally dependent upon the severity of the illness or symptom set that is being treated.
